The 24-year scored the equaliser, two minutes from time, with a nice header to grab his sixth league goal in 27 games.

With his goal against Nice, Mohamed ended a drought stretching back to 15 January when he scored in his side’s 3-0 win over Montpellier in the Ligue 1.

He has since failed to score in 12 successive games in all competitions.

The former Zamalek striker joined Nantes from Turkish side Galatasaray on a season-long loan last season.

He has scored nine goals in 40 appearances with Nantes so far this term in all competitions.
