Marmoush opened the scoring in the 10th minute after easing past Frankfurt before scoring easily in an empty net.

This goal is the fourth for the 24-year-old in the Bundesliga and the fifth in all competitions so far.

The future of the international winger with Wolfsburg is uncertain as talks between the player and the club over a new deal saw many difficulties.

Marmoush's contract with Wolfsburg expires at the end of this season. He will then become eligible to sign for any club as a free agent.

The former Wadi Degla winger joined Wolfsburg II in the summer of 2017 before being promoted to VFL Wolfsburg in the summer of 2020.

Little known in Egypt until the end of 2021, Marmoush became a key player in Egypt's squad after former Pharaohs coach Carlos Queiroz introduced him as a regular member.

Since then, he accumulated 15 caps with the Pharaohs, scoring twice.
