The fair's 16th edition runs in the UAE city of Jumeirah under the patronage of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, prime minister of the UAE and the ruler of Dubai.

Providing a spotlight on local, regional and international talents, Art Dubai is one of the most important international art fairs held in the Middle East that showcases art exhibitions from around the world.

This year, 130 galleries are participating in Art Dubai, presenting works from 40 countries.

Art Dubai is welcoming a large number of newcomers, with 30 galleries participating in the event for the first time.

On the sidelines of the exhibitions, Art Dubai is holding more than 50 events that focus on discussions about art, educational programmes, and forums on contemporary visual art.
